Patriot Federal Credit Union staff and board members recently held a site preparation ceremony for a new branch office in Greencastle, PA. The office will be located at 200 North Antrim Way at the corner of Williamson Avenue and US 11, next to Weis Markets/former SunnyWay Foods.

The site preparation ceremony marks the first step in removing the existing structure which previously housed the original SunnyWay Foods grocery and most recently Rite Aid until it closed in February 2024.  Upon its completion, the Greencastle Office will become Patriot’s 11th full-service branch.

“Greencastle residents represent a significant part of our membership, and we’re excited to provide them with enhanced access to our services,” said Ron Celaschi, CEO of Patriot Federal Credit Union. “This new branch is part of our ongoing effort to offer both high-touch personal service and advanced digital banking solutions.”

The new Greencastle branch will encompass nearly 2900 square feet and feature a modern interior layout that blends personal service with high-tech convenience. Members will have access to traditional service areas for basic banking transactions, as well as private offices for financial consultation, mortgage loans and business services.

Additionally, the branch design will feature a welcoming waiting area with refreshments, a tech bar with resources to help members engage and learn about finances, and informational displays. Additionally, it will have two drive-up lanes and a drive-up SMART ATM offering flexible denomination withdrawals ($5, $10, and $20 bills) with a bilingual option. Once the new office and ATM are operational, Patriot plans to decommission the existing Greencastle ATM located at 41 South Antrim Way.

The site preparation event was attended by Patriot representatives, along with the guests including the Martin family – Mike, Dean, and Tanner Martin; Kylie Moore & Debby Cunningham, Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce; Jason Batistig, Chief – Greencastle Borough Police; Russell Moore, SGS Architects; Justin Doty, FSA – Civil Engineer, Bishara Alsahouri of Kinsley Construction – General Contractor; and Andrew Segall of The Segall Group – Realtor.
